This initiative aligns with the Belanjawanku expenditure guide, developed by the Social Wellbeing Research Centre (SWRC), Universiti Malaya and the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) Belanjawanku provides estimates of minimum monthly expenditures required for various household types to achieve a reasonable standard of living. By integrating Belanjawanku into their wage policies, GLICs aim to ensure that employees earn sufficient income to meet basic needs, thereby enhancing financial wellbeing and reducing over-indebtedness among Malaysians.
