At the 2023 Securities Commission Malaysia (SC)-World Bank Conference, held on 2 Nov 2023, Professor Datuk Norma Mansor, the Director of SWRC, spoke at a session entitled 'Investing in Social Impact Programmes by the Private Sector'.
The conference was a platform to explore and discuss ideas and solutions for leveraging the private sector
as a force for driving positive social outcomes. Themed “Social Impact Investments and Islamic Finance: Catalyzing Positive Change through
Financial Innovation”, the conference explored the state of the social finance ecosystem, encouraging greater participation of the private sector in the social space and the role of social impact investments in complementing public sector finance.
