MARS WAVE 2 (2021-2022) Survey Report was officially launched on 29 August 2023, a joint partnership event between The Social Wellbeing Research Centre and The Asian Development Bank. MARS WAVE 2 features comprehensive and nationally representative data on key aspects of the wellbeing of older Malaysians. The survey highlights their needs, aspirations, preparedness and expectations in old age. More importantly, it identifies key areas for change for policymakers.
The launch was graced by the presence of Dr Donghyun Park, Asian Development Bank; Professor Ir Dr Shaliza Ibrahim, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Universiti Malaya; Puan Balqais Yusoff, Employees Provident Fund; Dr Edrin Nazri bin Abdul Rasib of Social Security Organisation and representatives from KWAP, ISIS, DOSM, KPDN and many others.
