Fundamentals in Social Protection (FSP) was conducted between 7 – 9 March 2023 at Dewan Seroja, Kelab Golf Perkhidmatan Awam, Kuala Lumpur. This program involved 28 participants from SOCSO, Private Pension Administraton (PPA), Securities Commisision (SC) and HRD Corp with experts from SWRC, Universiti Malaya, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Employees Provident Fund (EPF) and Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM).
FSP is the first level of the Pension and Retirement Professional Programme (PRPP). In this level, participants were exposed with comprehensive learning based on the highlighted modules which include Introduction to Social Protection, Ageing and Social Protection and Introduction to Retirement Planning.
Participants will be awarded with the Certified of Fundamentals in Social Protection upon successful completion of the course.
