SWRC researchers were invited to the Asia Health and Wellbeing Initiative (AHWIN) meeting from October 18 to 19, 2019 at the National Institute of Population and Social Security Research. This meeting was co-organized by the Japan Center for International Exchange (JCIE) and the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) on the topic of population aging and long-term care. The main objective of the meeting was to discuss the challenges and opportunities presented by rapid aging in Asia, with a focus on elderly care and circulation of the long-term care workforce.
