Introduced in 2018, the Pension and Retirement Professional Programme (PRPP) was the first certification of its kind specifically designed to enhance the capabilities of professionals engaged in pensions, retirement security and demographic ageing challenges in Malaysia and the ASEAN region.
The programme has successfully trained over 150 participants from diverse professional backgrounds, including social protection practitioners, public and private sector policymakers, financial planners, researchers and academics.
PRPP provides an in-depth understanding of social protection and retirement issues, builds practical policy-design skills, and exposes participants to international best practices. The programme is structured into three progressive blocks, with each block delivered over a three-day period.
